Hi this is Steve. In the last year one of the questions we've gotten asked the most

is when are you going to have Michael Vogel back to finish the original Star Wars trilogy

with an episode on Return of the Jedi.

Well, last Wednesday, we got Michael on the mic to do exactly that.

The result, as you would imagine, was a ton of fun,

including discussions on guilt and redemption,

advancements in special effects, hatred of Ewarks,

George Lucas's special edition changes,

and Return to the Jedi's place in the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars is really the first mass media juggernaut, with properties spinning

out into toys, comics, animation, video games, amusement parks, novels, clothing, and almost

every aspect of pop culture.

It is quite literally one of the most successful

properties in the history of cinema.

Numbers are a bit hard to come by, but most estimates have Star Wars earning an average of over a billion dollars a year

for the last 42 years. There are about 30 countries in the world whose GDP is less than the

money earned by the fictitious Star Wars universe.

All of which means that the odds are most of you have seen Return to the Jedi.
