We did mailbag the last couple of weeks.

We've been really focused in on the NBA Cup.

So it was a great chance to watch some games of some of these East teams that have not necessarily been top of mind the last couple of weeks.

And Danny, let us begin with a team that has been more top of mind i would say

the new york knickerbockers let's do it the nicks are 18 and 10 on the season a strong four and one

since the last 15 and 60 their plus nine clean the glass net rating is fifth in the NBA that's

propelled by being number two in offense but but they're also 12th in defense.

And ESPN's BPI projects them to win 47 games, which would be the three seed in the east.

And one quick piece of business for the Knicks, Landry Schemitt, for those who were he was expected

to make the team, he got injured and then got cut. And then now the Knicks have signed

Shamet and waived Matt

Ryan to open up the roster spot. So I guess this bodes well for Shammett being available to

return. Yeah. And they I think could use it. It looked like he was in preseason who's

trending to actually be in their rotation. And they've not been as thin as we thought, in part

because they basically have not suffered a single injury all year.

Which is incredible.

But I want to talk some about Carl Anthony Towns and his return and why he was able to be so successful.

But at first, I want to begin with what you said at the outset.

I mean, this team has had some losses that have been somewhat embarrassing

and they have struggled some against switching defenses to be sure. But, I mean, that's a nasty net rating.
