Hey Zubi glad to be here I'm great I'm always great awesome man I know you've been doing

a whole ton of interviews here there's a lot going on in the world right now and I think

a lot of people are seeking your commentary so first question how did you even get into

this world because I don't think this is necessarily what you intended to be doing.

No I mean I had I got a PhD in math and had intended to be a math professor and it depends

on how far back you want to go but you know I left the university part of that was because

I was seeing things that were happening in the university and at this point everybody's

like oh he saw a wokeness maybe in like 2007 or a no what I saw was a strong bias towards

student retention in the university policy like all of our faculty meetings were like how

do we not fail students how do we not like how do we educate them better like how do we

just not give them F's you know let's make sure they get better grades so they don't quit

they don't lose their scholarships they don't get the moralize let's keep them in and keep

them happy and keep them paying and I thought that this is kind of a odds with my educational

philosophy so I saw problems there so it didn't take very much you know my family it wasn't a

family like issue it's just like the circumstances were like oh it's uncomfortable to have to move

around and do the whole chase academic job thing that was just enough extra weight to be like

now I'm out of this whole game so I left that and stopped being a professor in 2010 and through a

series of deciding to get academic like I started arguing with people online basically as
