Dr. Lara Dye is a psychologist who specializes on treating childhood relational trauma that ultimately results in substance, love and sex addictions. Her treatment approach is focused on understanding how particular childhood traumas cause humans to grow destructive defense mechanisms. Those defenses, while originally a solution to the pain of the childhood situation, ultimately decrease healthy adult relationships.
Dr. Dye has extensive post-graduate training in love and sex addiction from the Meadows in Arizona (Pia Mellody) and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT).
