On October 18, 1993, a man named Lucius Boyd committed his first murder.

A man was stabbed and Lucius claimed he acted in self-defense.

The jury, believing the man, found him innocent and let a dangerous man walk the streets

and take the promising life of a young woman, and more than likely, more.

day with a morning cup of murder. Lucius Boyd was born on March 22nd, 1959 in Broward County, Florida.

He was born into a well-known and well-respected family

who owned a local funeral home

in which Boyd often worked.

As Lusius grew older, he became what people described as a lethario.

He had no problem talking to women

and, at one point, even had four different women

suing him for child support.

He was also known as a violent man who had a problem with drugs.

In 1990, Lucius' second wife, Julie McCormick,

threatened to leave him after finding out he cheated on her.

His response?

Choking the woman to the point where she lost consciousness.
