This is Jay. This is Dobie. Hello. And gratings to all of you. Gratting on this very special day. We're together once again at the table of the

misfits podcast, the misfit show sitting around looking at one another in the eyes and thinking how did we get here? How did we get so true? Yeah. So deep and

I never thought about it like that. How did we get here? Wow. It's like that one talking head song. You know, that one. How do we get here? Yeah. Yeah. That's the one. Anyway,

if podcast hasn't been out in a couple weeks, huh? People are asking questions. They are. People are saying things like, where's the podcast? And you guys are next upload. Yeah. You guys fell off. Plus ratio.

Yeah. Well, we had to address all of those points. To start with, we just took a little bit of time off over the January period. And a big deal. Yeah. Hey, nothing but a thing. Everyone's doing it. But also, you know, I think it's pretty clear to

the viewers and at least I want to have viewers that this podcast isn't quite what it used to be. Yeah. We'll hate each other. Don't we? Don't make those fucking

jumps. We don't like it. We don't hate each other. It's actually a it's actually far from the truth, I would say. I like all of you. I enjoy you. You enjoy me. Just like I enjoyed you the other

night. That's a lot. I can't say it back. I'm sorry. I was bored. Anyway, what I'm trying to avoid saying is, you know, the podcast, it's not quite what

it used to be. You know, it's with sort of being on those weekly schedule with our Spotify contract, which has now ended. You know, much thanks to Spotify, much

love to Spotify for supporting us the past two years. But you know, once the contract ended, once we'd fulfilled all the episodes we had to do, we thought, all right,

let's take a few weeks off. Let's think about what we want the misfits and the podcast to be going forward. And then let's talk about it in

an episode like this. So that's what we're going to do. Um, and for the unfortunate thing about being under contract was that even when we didn't have any

things to talk about, which was a lot of the time. A lot of the time throughout this COVID period, especially doing the Melbourne lockdown. Yes. Yeah. A lot of people I've noticed from streams. A lot of people do not understand how locked down Melbourne was. We were extra locked. And they just think, oh, the misfits were doing it because I didn't want to.

Literally couldn't leave a house. Yeah, it was like, you know, the podcast, especially with a period over discord, it was like, you know, hey, what you guys do this week's I woke up I jacked on, I played video games and smoked weed and then I went to sleep. It's very bland periods. It's very, very bland period. Yeah.

I was just didn't make for great content. Didn't make for great chemistry. And really like a lot of the time, the podcast they would come around. I don't think anybody's really feel like doing it that much, but we sort of had to show up and

then like string together in the episode either way. That being said, I think we did a pretty good job. Yeah. We did. We had some great moments. We're not bad at bullshit in our way.

We're not bad at finding random stuff to talk about. We coached through it. We coached it through it. Pretty young right? Yeah. But you know, there are many episodes that I think we're not like the most proud of, especially in comparison to the energy that was present in the early days.

And really like going forward, we're just trying to get back to what that was like, both with the main channel content and the podcast content.

So what we're basically trying to say is, I think that the podcast is going to be a little more irregular going forward. We're probably not going to keep ourselves to a weekly schedule.
