Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Wednesday, my friends.

I'm so excited that I get to be here with you today.

I'm here to help you get the day started right.

The title of today's episode of the Big Life Devotional podcast is God has promised.

This morning, while I was getting ready, it hit me.

The overwhelming reality of what you might be going through.

The burden you may be carrying the weight of the decisions you may need to make,

the immense pain you may be enduring, the total uncertainty you may be walking in.

And in this humbling moment, I realize that you may have come here today seeking a divine word from God that would somehow assure you he's in it with you.

You may have pressed play today asking him for a sign.

And this may have been like your Hail Mary past trying one last time to hear

clearly from God. If that is you, I have the sweetest news. God has been whispering to my soul about

you today. He has made me extra tender towards your situation

and you are seeking. I have asked him to use me as his vessel to tell you precisely what he wants

you to hear. And here's the scripture he led me to. Psalm 145

verses 13 through 19. Listen and receive this. The Lord always keeps his promises. He is gracious

in all he does. The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent

beneath their loads. The eyes of all look to you and hope. You give them food as they need it.

When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.

The Lord is righteous in everything he does. He is filled with kindness. The Lord is close to all
