Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Friday, my friends. It is such a good day to get to be

alive. I'm thankful that you're here with me today. I typically tell you how excited I am to be with you.

And I was just having a moment of honesty with my Big Life mentoring girls that are watching this

live. And I was telling them, you know, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm not excited today.

You ever have a day where you just don't feel like it? Like sometimes you don't feel like it,

but we cannot be led by our feelings. So honestly, if I were

following my feelings, I wouldn't be doing this today. But instead, I have good habits and routines

that I follow just in case my feelings don't show up in being right. And my feelings weren't quite

right today. But I had my study time. And on Fridays, we like to do unscripted devotional time.

And I'm just showing up to share with you what God's been showing me. And I love what he's been showing me. He's been at work

on my heart and on my mind. I've been sharing that a lot lately, just being real and honest with you.

Yesterday we studied the scripture in Proverbs chapter six. Do you remember we talked about haughty eyes yesterday, the things that God

hates, and it says there's six things that God hates, no seven that God detests. And so we talked

about this scripture yesterday, the seven things that God detests, haughty eyes, a lying tongue,

hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false

witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord. So I actually had a request that we continue and dig a little bit deeper in this.

Because yesterday we just kind of went deeper on the haughty eyes, that secret scale that we

have within us that measures everyone else against us and says, ooh, I'm better and I'm right. And God says, and I hate that.

Get rid of the scale. So let's dig deeper into the scripture and just see what else does God have for us here.
