Happy Monday, everybody.

It is the first Monday of a brand new month.

What a blessing it is to get to be alive.

For many of us in the U.S., we experienced time change over the weekend and time actually fell back an hour, which really is kind of bad

news at the end of the day because it gets dark super early. But it's good news for in the

morning because guess what? It was easier to wake up this morning. Woohoo! Good morning. Let's get

the day started right. The title of today's episode of the Big Life Devotional

podcast is Take the Out. Within your Bible is the most interesting story personally told by

Jesus in a total of 13 verses. Now, unlike other stories told by Jesus, this one is not a parable.

Okay, this isn't a made up story to illustrate a point. No, when Jesus uses a parable,

he always clearly states, this is just a story. But what Jesus is about to tell us here

is not a made-up story. This is for real. It happened. And it not only happened, but only Jesus

could tell about it.

This is the temptation of Jesus.

Over the next few days, we are going to look at all 13 verses and learn some absolutely

life-changing lessons from Jesus' encounter with the temptation of Satan.
