I'm an astronaut on the International Space Station and I'm going to perish here in the vast coldness of space, looking down at the destroyed planet I no longer recognize that I

used to call home. Sometimes I can't even comprehend the

things I've seen. It's like they all string together into one long horrifying nightmare. I'm

writing this in case somebody somehow might find it and know what happened. I don't think anyone's

left alive to read it. Maybe some alien race will happen by and see this floating hulk of a derelict planet and wonder

what happened.

In any case, I might as well get started and hope to finish before I run out of food and air.
