Can you touch upon a little bit more about what your relationship was like with your mom growing up?

She just was absent, just really absent.

My dad always insisted my mom have a job despite the fact that there are farmers.

So she worked the farm, was holding out a household, and then was a nurse, was nursing.

So she was gone a lot.

And when she was home, she was emotionally distant.

She was just wrapped up in the trauma and the drama going on with my dad

and the latest crisis with the farm, which was always tinkering on the edge of bankruptcy. I mean,

it was always just like this bigger crisis happening in our life. And so whenever I had a problem,

it was like, you know, I don't know how to fix that. I don't know what to say to you about. Like,

I'm struggling making friends. There's the autism showed up. I don't have any friends. I don't know what to say to you about that. Like I'm struggling making friends. There's the autism showed up.
