Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Friday, my friends.

We have the weekend just ahead of us, and this is the weekend right before Christmas,

so I'm assuming your weekend is probably full of all kinds of Christmas festivities and activities

and things that you're doing to get ready for

Christmas. May I just remind you, you do not have to, you get to. So show up with some

hallelujah, happy spirit about you, girl. I am excited because sometimes on Fridays we do

just an unscripted Bible study time together.

And today is going to be extremely special because we're going to read about when Mary

finds out she's going to be pregnant with Jesus.

So perfect timing coming up to Christmas.

Let's talk about this. So I'm going to title today's kind of

Bible study time together. I'm going to title it, She Didn't Know. She Didn't Know. You see,

we know the story of Mary. We know how this all worked out. We know it was jesus and we know what jesus did for us but

mary didn't know there's so many things mary didn't know and there's so many things we don't know

god knows god knows how it's all going to work out. He knows what he's doing. He knows the big

picture. He knows the ending of this. But we're in a place kind of like Mary was that we don't know.

So what do you do when you don't know? Let's read the story together. We're going to start in Luke

chapter one. And starting with verse 26 god sent the angel gabriel to

nazareth a village in galilee to a virgin named mary she was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her

and said, greetings, favored woman. The Lord is with you. You know, God showed up in a really ordinary place. God has a way of doing that.
