Welcome to episode 18, Native American Technology.

Now, Andrew, this is an episode that we actually intended to do very early in the podcast

when we first launched it.

But after spending about four months just trying to lay some groundwork so we can get into

the narrative, we felt like that we were stuck and stalled on making progress with the

podcast and we wanted to get

into some of the linear history. Here we are, 13 episodes in? 18 plus our legend episodes.

No kidding, man. So this is our 21st show. 21 episodes in. So now we're going to take a quick

step back and we're going to tell you some

things that we learned about technology in everyday life for Northeastern Native Americans.

And this will kind of help you understand a little more where these people are coming from

and how they go about their daily lives.

We're going to be covering several hundred years and remember that technology changes over time.

And so we'll specify how this style of everything has evolved over time.

Can you imagine if aliens in the future come down and look at our technology from 2005 and think that we're all walking around with

primitive iPhone ones and things like that.

We do adapt as time goes on to much superior technology.

And the Native Americans were no different.

Yep.
