On this week's episode, we embark on a journey into the realm of the macabre.

Prepare to be gripped by tails that crawl beneath your skin and linger in the recesses of your mind.

So, dim the lights, draw the curtains and brace yourselves as we drift

further into Mr. Creve's mind. I live in a small town in Ohio. Something is lurking in the

Driving in the dead of night down a dark ribbon of asphalt is enough to put anybody to sleep.

Add in the complete lack of scenery unless of course you count on this rows of giant corn stalks that flank

both sides of the road. I don't know how they make them grow that tall. Maybe they put something

special on the fertilizer. But in any case, rows upon rows of corn with an area break in sight

for miles can make me go a special kind of crazy.

That is, if I can keep my eyes open long enough. I wish there was some other way for me to get home

at night. Any other way, but there isn't. I live at the far end of the road surrounded by cornfields.

Going faster wasn't an option.

With the corn so close to the road, I had no warning if a deer jumped out in front of me.

And believe me, I've had plenty of those.

Fortunately, I kept my own personal speed limit of 40 miles per hour.

It helped me to avoid making a fur hood ornament out of many deer, and not to mention

the other creatures that seem to think they on the road.

My car was the factor too.

At this point, I'm not sure it would tolerate going much faster than 40.

The engine light had gone on around a month ago, but I didn't have the time or money to get it to the garage.
