I was in a new city. I had left the last place that I had been living in a new city.

I had left the last place that I had been living in a hurry.

I owed money to some very bad people.

They were the type who skipped writing to tell you your account was being handed over to a debt collection agency.

They went straight to sending men around to break your legs.

With all my bones intact and confident that they had no way of finding me, I had a spring in my step as I left the coach station. I had a few bucks in my pocket, enough to buy a beer. After that,

I would do what I had done my whole life.

I would see where chance took me.

I crossed the road and making my way to a bar that I had spotted on the corner.

Only as I was heading for the door, a stranger stepped in my way, a big guy in a suit.

He had a scar on one cheek and silver cufflings.

I had met this type before, usually just after they would kick my front door in.

Got a proposal for you, bud, you said.

A way for you to make some easy money you interested nah i growled and

tried to move past him but he stood his ground and said there's a coin on the ground over there

all you need to do is pick it up and scan the QR code that you'll find on the headside into this phone,

and then you'll see what you've won.
