During the Christmas season, Santa sends an elf to every child's home to see if they're being naughty or nice.

All day, they watch their child, never blinking and never moving,

and each night they return to the North Pole to report back to Santa.

Who came up with the elf on the shelf? Seriously. Who thought it was a good idea to

hide an elf each and every night? It never fails. My wife and I head to the bedroom. I lay down,

I turn over, close my eyes, and sit up in a panic. Did you remember to move the elf? Of course I didn't remember.
