But we need to take care of some very, very important business.

It involves one of our coworkers, the great boomer Asiason.

Last Friday, or last Thursday nights, it was a week ago, Boomer went on social media, and he caused quite a hubbable blue.

He tweeted, I'm feeling like Pete is a met tomorrow.

And then on the awesome morning show that we have, Boomer said, yeah, I think he's going to be met today.

I want Boomer to be right. Okay, today. I want Boomer to be right.

Okay, I don't want Boomer to be wrong.

I want Pete Alon's on the Mets.

I've been screaming about it all for years, basically.

So last Friday, we said, look, I hope Boomer's right.

But if he's not right by the close of business, we have to take our L that we created here on Evidentiki.

It's a wearable L. And he, the cardboard cut out of Boomer,

that's right behind me, if you're watching on SNY, he'd have to wear the L. Obviously, Pete did not

sign on that Friday, so we put the L around his neck. It stayed there on Saturday and Sunday and

Monday and Tuesday and it was there. He's wearing it out. Because he was

wrong. He said, I have a feeling Pete is a met tomorrow. He wasn't a met. And I want him to be

right. I trust me, I'd rather be wrong and happy than right and miserable. And I feel the exact

same way about coworkers' opinions. I'm just exact same way about co-workers' opinions.

I'm just selfish. I want Pete to be a met.
