We're back in a basement, but this time it's a fancy-ish studio.

We have an engineer and everything. We are going song by song through John's

brand-new album, In League with Dragons. Today, we start with the final track in the album,

because why not? We take you now to Sicilian Crest.

I have an app that apparently I think guerrillas recorded their entire last album on or that's like I think that's a they

record their entire thing on a phone well no on an app that you get on the I think

maybe I presumably put it through an iPad it looks like this is called Studio

mini and it's four track And it's a very intuitive four track where if you hit R then you're recording. You hit mute, you mute and hit S, you solo. And you can bounce tracks over and it's your classic taskam four track the stuff that many people

built entire careers on back when and that everybody presumed I had which I did not have

but but yeah what I was about to talk about was the reason Sicilian Crest is not just called Sicilian Crest, but Sicilian Crest is this demo that Roman

It's Roman Day. You got your Sicilian Crest.

We were, what happened was the original demo for that.

It was a hard song to play.

I was playing along with this garage band drum loop.

It's not really a loop, it's a loop, but they have complicated loops now where you pick a drummer and you

there's a whole lot of that was throwing me off because yeah there was fills and stuff so yeah so in

current builds of garage band there's different drummers who have names and they have little,
