Wassman here with my favorite episode that we do every year a mock draft

but everybody in college football is eligible to be picked as of course don't the NFL pretty unique

to other sports leagues you have to play at least three years of college football before you can

end in the draft it's unlike the NBA in that. NBA only got to play one year of college ball.

So what we did is say, okay, how about an NBA-style NFL mock draft where you could take

true freshman from this past year. You could take true software from this past year.

And of course, players in this year's draft as well. So I'm really excited to kind of show how we think about the

2026 NFL draft, how we think about the 2027 NFL draft compared to this year's draft.

You know, and there's certain episodes we get to do either here on the college show or on the

NFL show that I just, I wake up and think about doing them and I'm like, we're certainly

not going to ruffle any further than this one, right? There's going to be no controversy at

all comparing the next couple of draft classes to this current one that we have. And look,

there are some people who are down in this 2025 class a little bit. I think, you know,

they think there's a lot of depth, but maybe not as much star power. Well, you add in two more

years of eligible prospects and you certainly add some star power in there. We're going to see that very early.

I think last year when we did this episode for the 2024 all eligible mock draft, I think our first seven picks were 24 players because of how good the top of that class was, that is not the case

this year. We have plenty of 2026 and 2027 guys going very early in this mock draft. And it's also, it's kind of a fun exercise to show you guys who are the top guys

in upcoming drafts next year and the year after and how we think they compare to some

the top guys in this year's class as well.
