Welcome everyone to the PFF Fantasy Podcast. I'm John Macri joined as always by PFF's lead fantasy analyst Nathan Yonki as we continue to cover NFL draft season here. Nate and this week we're moving on to the receivers as in both wide receivers and the tight end. So another strong crop of options for us to sort through this year. So Nate, how are you feeling about this year's past

catching class, I guess we'll call them as we get closer and closer to the NFL draft?

I'm definitely excited for the tight ends, especially what we've had, the chaos at tight ends

in recent season, not being able to find 12 fantasy starters. So we always have a couple of fantasy

managers in each league scrambling at tight end every single week. Hopefully we can get a couple of fantasy managers in each league scrambling at

tight end every single week. Hopefully we can get a little bit further away from that with this

Titan class. Wide receiver class not feeling quite as strong about, but we at least have a couple

of guys to talk about. So while we won't go as deep at wide receiver as we've gone in some past

years, we do have a couple guys at the top who should put up some fantasy value yeah yeah i'm with you i kind of feel the exact same way

like there's some wide receivers that are interesting but it's yeah it's definitely not like the top heavy classes that we've had in years past

and and tight end kind of makes up for that a little bit i think at least as far as far as the first round guys go. But yeah, we're going to go into detail on kind of all the top names for each position.

So for a wide receiver, that means all the potential first round guys, which there are currently

five that are most commonly mocked in that range. And then for tight end, that means all the day one

and day two guys

of which there are another five to go over so we'll we'll break them down individually first

and then do a little mini ranking for them at the end of each position so Nate with the plan laid

out let's get into it and start with the wide receivers and the first name up is ameka at

buca out of ohio State's. What were your

thoughts on him? I was generally happy with what I saw out of him. He was consistently the number

two wide receiver at Ohio State, but that's understandable when you're competing with Marvin

Harrison Jr. And then Jeremiah Smith this past year, his production looked fairly good, considering he was the number

two receivers.
