You know, if you've been around like church culture for a while, some things just can become like wallpaper.

You'll hear it. You don't even notice it so much anymore. It's just like, yeah, the cross or this or that or like,

it's just religious stuff. And I think it's good to be reminded. I just got reminded of like when it comes to the cross.

How disgraceful that whole thing was.

Truly disgraceful.

I mean, that was an intentionally humiliating way to kill people.

The worst and most disgusting kinds of criminals that needed to be humiliated.

So it wasn't just execution, it was public humiliation.

And I think that Jesus subjected himself to that.

And he said, this isn't, I'm doing this under my own power.

Like, I'm, you wouldn't be allowed to do this if I didn't allow you to do this.

But, wow, the humiliation, he went through it out of love for us.

It's just, I don't want that to be wallpaper.
