that I've been working on for the past year. It would not have been possible without doing this show. The podcast served as a

creative bridge from a really desperate place to a place of creative fulfillment that I didn't

even know was possible when I started the show. Those of you that have listened for a long time

might have noticed that one of the questions I asked my guests is when they first experienced

a sense of ecstasy playing music. I can clearly remember that feeling myself, but for years

it was subsumed by other bullshit. And talking to all the amazing people that we've had on the show

and just being accountable to you my audience to put something out

every week help me regain a sense of creative agency and get back to that magical feeling.

So next week we're going to announce the first show with my new band, which will feature several

guests that have been on this show, including one of my all-time favorite drummers.
