This is the frontman of the band Adelita's Way and this is the one and only

Rick the Jesus. Welcome to the show.

Awesome man. I've done a real brief intro there but for people who are not familiar with you Rick,

please tell them a little bit about yourself.

I'm the singer-songwriter of Adelita's Way. We've been traveling the whole world for about 15 years

playing music and using the platform we have to spread a positive message to bring people together

and to really just our music is very motivating in many different ways and we use our platform to

like I said just to spread a message of kind of what's going on in the world today and make

sure that all the civilians and all the people are sticking together.

That's awesome man. How did you get started in the world of music?

Oh I had blinders on. Music was one of those things where I put the blinders on and I just

went for it right. I was playing college baseball and I love baseball my whole life but I knew

when I stopped showing up the practice because I was in the studio recording where I was

playing these little kind of late night gigs and then I wasn't showing up the practice next

I knew it was just something serious because I love baseball so much and I immediately

put baseball to the side when it came to music. I put girls to the side when it came to music.

Music was blinders. It was just like everything right out of my focus was just all music.
