I'm Kate Kennedy your host. So at a Sunday, I got back last night from Vegas. And uh, you know, I, I think I'm learning my limits you guys. I made all the time.

I got pregnant. I was like, I want to go as early as possible. Just like, you know, you never know what's going to happen in case I don't have as much energy later on. And I'm glad I did because I feel frustrated with myself.

I feel frustrated with myself. I was instantly I'm really quite tired at going for 24 hours on kind of a long flight and staying up that long and being on my feet that long. I'm not even that pregnant.

I'm like, almost halfway. Um, but it was a lot for me. And I'm still I'm recovering. And I think I'm just struggling with not having the energy once did and I'm trying not to feel resentful about it. I'm even sorry for how low energy this episode is. I don't want you guys to think I like had a bad time. I had the best time. It was, it was wonderful. You guys will absolutely love it. Um, I went with my sister Kelly and my best friend from college Hannah who's been on the pod.

She did a long patreon with me in 2021. I believe called the cap adult a variant. And she was on the pod with my other sorority sisters when we were in Vegas for my 35th and um, you guys know Kelly, of course. And we, I wanted to I wanted to 1989 with Hannah and rep with Kelly. So it felt like a perfect way to reintroduce the eras tour. And we had a blast. It was such a good show.

I, you'll hear me say in this recap. First of all, it's a shorter episode because we got home pretty late. We passed out right away. Then I had to, you know, record before the flight.

Um, and I wish we could have a little bit longer. Um, but I figured more so than me, ramble about anything else. You guys probably wanted to hear our takes from the eras tour.

Uh, I think it's easy just to provide comment like comment paper comments Terry say it's easy to kind of like point out what you didn't like. Well, I'm like, oh, and all you guys, it's a brilliant show. It's such a cool.

Uh, it's such a testament to her amazing career. You really do get some merge in every single era for a little bit. And I think she the way she, she did it beautifully well. Like even, uh, if you guys listen to my patreon last week, we had an emergency meeting.

After I watched the livestream on TikTok of the opening night in Glendale. And I was shook by the set list that I'm still shook now the ever more of it all.

But I say during this episode that like I was envious of people who were surprised. I wish I did that for myself. I watched the entire concert on TikTok live streams last Friday and last Saturday.

Because I couldn't wait because I was too excited and I and I mad at myself because I think I robbed myself of the surprise that would have that would be nuts in person.

I think part of the reason I got so tired is that I knew what to expect. And if I have been surprised by the twists and the turns and the tolerate of it all, I think I would have had an easier time staying away.

Like we say on this episode, I think that we got there and got food and got to our seats and we still have like an hour and a half to kill before it started.

But you know, you want to get there early because you see the craziness. So it was really hard to gauge. But I think that's what did me in.

I think that's what I was waiting for is waiting for it to start. I got so tired during that time period.

Because by the time she went on stage, it was 10 p.m. Central.

And I don't know if anybody, I don't know if anybody can relate to this. And I am so grateful to be pregnant. You guys know what a long road it's been.

But you can't do everything that you could before. And I think I just I really wanted to like prove to myself nothing had changed and I still felt fine.

I don't know why I'm getting upset, but like I think I was just upset that I felt so tired during it.
