I'd be really careful when I was like lining stuff upright and I was told that the glue was permanent on my headphone hook that I put on like two or three years ago.

to peel off. Hmm. Adhesive, not living up to its claims? Look, I know that as a society,

as a culture, as a people, we don't really understand glue, right? It's complicated. Like,

My understanding is that glue is it was one of the great mysteries, but it's like a $3 trillion

industry nonetheless. Anyway, this headphone hook came with some 3M business. It's a big, thick

gray pad with red labels on it. It was like, yo, when you stick this, it's going to be on forever.

And the part that I stuck to the table is clearly on forever.

But the part that came stuck onto the hook,

less so.

Maybe that side didn't have the fancy 3M stuff on it.

why would they sell one half?

Why would they sell one half with the good stuff and one half with the not good

stuff?

I want to, if one side's going to be permanent, I want the other side to be permanent too, man. So, I mean, my first question,
