How did you get into the SAS?

I grew up in a small coastal town in New Zealand, semi-automatic weapons, one, two, three empty flat-bed trucks.

I was in the team house in Baghdad, our cleaner, she is a lovely lady.

She screams out hugely engulfed in flames.

He was a 10-year-old kid.

And I said to the guard one day, why is he always in that car park? He said, no, that's the apartment building that him and his family used to live in. What interrogation for five days? Yes. For a short

time, I suppose, myself and a few others, we became mercenaries. What did you see in Iraq? A lot

of carnage, body parts, you see a lot of displacement. You can deal with that. What got me was

the big lie that had been sold.
