We're back with the new season and today we're spending this episode catching you up on what we did this summer, my new baby, and what we're excited about for fall,

covering all the major subjects as you would expect.

So if you missed us, we're back and we're ready to be kind of consistent.

Yeah, we're back. It's a new season. I guess you could say it's our fall season.

We don't really do seasons on this podcast, but we'll just say we're entering

now. Is the season of your podcast just the season of the year that it is?

It sounded like very officialized like oh yeah we're in a new season we totally

know we're doing yeah we're doing it. I mean you don't get to

238 episodes without being a professional podcaster right? I'm fine. That's a good

question. Okay, whatever. So before we jump in, I wanted to address something. I got a bunch of

dms about this this summer and it seems like a topic that we need to talk about as a family.

Okay? So some people think that because we quit our podcast ads it means that we are

going to quit podcasting and I get why you would think that because it seems like from the outside perspective

like a financially and logistically dumb thing for us to do but we actually are fine with it and we are planning to continue podcasting for years.

Like we don't have an end date in sight right now.

We're just like we're cool with Pocket.

We enjoy it.

It's fun. We might go a little bit slower than in the past, but like,

basically the same. It's basically going to be the same as it's been. So no fear, no panicking,

we're not quitting, and we're not lying I promise.

And the other thing is we are trying to be like on a sustainable chill pace.
