Kia announcing that the new EV4 will get the simulated manual gear shifts with the flappy paddles, even on the base models.

And for the GT version of the EV4, it will even get the simulated engine redline limiter,

like the Hyundai Arnick 5 does, where it literally cuts the power until you change up through the fake manual gear.

It sounds actually a little crazy, but it works really well in practice. The EV5 will not get

this technology. We'll find out more about the EV4, the PV5 commercial vehicle and

people carrier, and the little EV2 at Kia Day on Thursday. Lucid is now selling the gravity in Canada.

Mercedes is now testing on UK roads, solid state batteries inside an EQS vehicle.

It's been retrofitted.

It's got 600 miles of range. These batteries are made

by their partner factorial. They are 40% lighter than using the existing technology in Mercedes

electric vehicles. They increase range by 25%. And physically, they occupy 33% less space, which you can use for more occupant space or adding

even more batteries.

6, 700 miles of range will be a reality with solid-state batteries, and they are currently

on the road in dummy vehicles.
