And as someone who's reached over a million entrepreneurs and leaders around the world with my

podcast, as someone who's filled up many of my programs with my podcast. And as someone who's taught many other

entrepreneurs who want to build a personal brand, how to have a podcast. I'm going to tell you right

now there's incredible value in having a podcast when it's done correctly. And I want to share with

you the top values of having a podcast so that you understand why you would want to have a podcast. But I also want to share with you the top values of having a podcast so that you understand why you would

want to have a podcast. But I also want to share with you. There's a few exceptions to the rule.

If maybe you fit in one of those, it might not be time for you to have a podcast. We're going to talk

about all of that in today's episode. So starting out, one of the biggest reasons I encourage people to have a podcast, especially if you have a personal brand, is that it's going to position you as an authority and as a leader in your niche market in your industry.

Just like being the author of a book does the same thing. Being the host of a podcast sets you apart.

Everybody has social media, but not everybody

has a podcast. So there's definitely lower competition on the podcast platform, but it's just really

important to understand that by having one, and if you leverage that across all your other social

media sites, it's going to position you as an

authority. It's going to position you as a leader in your industry and in your niche market,

especially if you bring on people to interview and it has you connected with top leaders in your

industry and in your niche. That just positions you as a leader and as an

authority and helps people know and think about you in that niche market. But just like being the

author of a book, if you're the host of a podcast, you need to properly leverage that to position
