This is such a good one.

So we did not have this rewatch planned, but Emma watched it recently, just like with her

husband.

And then she like, oh, we got to do this as a rewatch.

And I was like, what about a Christmas movie?

And she was like, the fifth element.

And I was like, okay, you know what?

I give in.

We'll do a Christmas movie next.

Yeah, I love it.

Okay.

So, yeah, this week we're doing it.

I can't believe it's from 1997.

It's like that is starting to sound like a long time ago, right?

Okay, so I remember the first time I watched this movie.

So I had in my college experience, which was very short, I had one, yeah, I only

went to college for two years and I had one semester where I lived in a dorm. And my roommate,

no one likes their college roommate, right? Like we were not like besties as so much. But the one thing about her is she watched the most unhinged best movies and she was just like always putting on a movie. So we watched the fifth element with like all our friends in our dorm room. And that was my experience of watching it for the first time. Oh, I love it. Yeah. And a bunch of other movies, too. Like,

she really did have the bangers. And I remember feeling like very visually inspired, very connected to Ruby Rod as a comic character and just like stunned by how gorgeous it was.

And that's never changed.
