Hello and welcome to Under the Skin from Luminary. This week we are taking a significant issue and

presenting opposing views. And we've chosen the subject of whether or not there's a God. Is there one?

Finally, we're going to come to a conclusion by presenting you with two arguments.

Ricky Javace versus the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cotroll. If you listen to Under the Skin on Apple

podcast, please leave us a review. They really help others find us. Tussle 999, gives us five stars

and says not bad, which in my view are opposing concepts. In this part we talk about, like Ricky

Javace says that atheism don't mean you don't believe in God, it just means that you haven't found God

yet and that he describes himself as an agnostic atheist because one deals with knowledge and one

deals with belief. Same for example, I don't think there is a God because I haven't got any evidence

yet. Stephen Cotroll says God interacting with human beings in human form to demonstrate that we

have God in us. God, I think that's talking about the mythos and logos of Christ. The beautiful

idea of the half Christianity is that God is a community. Blessed are those who know their need of God

and sadly we live in a world where so many people think they're okay and live self-sufficient lives.

It's interesting even just listening to those two quotes is like a degree of purveirication

on both sides with atheists saying that there is a divinity somehow inherent in humanity, i.e.

or nature beyond humanity and with people that have denominational views trying to bleed out

beyond the restrictions of those denominations to access people that might not find faith within

those constructions. Me, I sort of agree with Ricky Javace on loads of stuff and I believe with

Stephen Cotroll on loads of stuff. I agree with both of them where I fall on the argument is

pretty bloody obvious. I'm ultimately believing God. Trying to achieve equality with the annihilation

of category is not successful. That's exactly right. We're in this era where it turns out we were

never supposed to look like an ideal. What's beneath the surface of people with my ideas that define
