It was the Euros in 2004. The whole of Christchurch's Road was flooded with fans.

Two of the lads were out front having an argument with a group of guys.

I went out to try and defuse the situation.

And then as I bought them and I turned, I got hit on the head with the back of the bottle.

I turned, I smacked the guy, knocked him out.

The rest of the lads turned up. It was just hell. Everything erupted.

He was a big scary dude, this Chechnine guy, a friend of mine. He was locking the door and they

came at us and they had big four by fours. Hiss him on the head. He took the guy into the street,

killed the guy in the street. Another guy came at me. I had my hand in the car, so I've got them in the headlock. It's just a chaos in a night.
