I got out of the shower as I was cleaning off the mirror and I saw fingers pushing through my window.

He looked very demonic and he said in like a really scruffy voice, he said, hey, I headed up that way and my dog barked and I looked over and he was probably

20 feet away from me walking straight towards me.

He used her phone after he had killed her to add me on Facebook.

I remember the police coming to my door and asking me if I was my name and they said you know your car has been torched. So this guy went on a busy public street right by Lake Merit right by my my apartment he literally poured gasoline all in my car and lit it on fire. Like

On today's episode of Strictly Stalking, we're speaking with Heather, who was stalked by an ex-boyfriend.

In the 1980s, Heather was 18 years old when her ex-boyfriend started leaving notes and gifts in her car and sent threatening messages.

His stocking escalated when he blew up her car, broke into her apartment, and attempted to kidnap her.

Stocking laws were much different in the 80s and restraining orders weren't an option.

Heather received no support or resources despite the

ongoing threats to her safety. Heather, thank you for joining us today.

Thank you for having me. Of course. Why don't you take us back to the 1980s when you were 18

years old? I was raised in Open which was the inner city. I was a very pretty girl and I was basically incorrigible. So my mom had four kids. She was working very hard. Two of her four kids were wild. So myself and my brother and just totally out of control.

And I think I was always kind of looking for love,

you know.
