The point where I was, I never specialized in a sport. I didn't pick up growing until much later in life.

I'm Lindsay Schoop, and I am actually an Olympic gold medalist in the sport of rowing.

Not something I started with from a young age. We'll talk about that a little bit later,

deal. I guess I sometimes do neglect that fact that my teammates and I, when we won the Olympics

in Beijing in 2008, we were actually the first to win Olympic gold in any event in women's

rowing for the United States at 2,000 meters.
