And our film review this week, our film review is The Tunnel.

0:50.3

The Tunnel was released in 2011. It has 5.8 out of 10 on IMDB and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I will say that 100% comes from seven reviews, but it has 50% in the user reviews. Right. So that's a big old disparity there and I wanted to point that out. An investigation into a government cover-up

2:02.4

For example, the use of loud music that is superfluous to the plot of the story or superfluous

2:07.3

to the action that's happening on stage to create a jump scare. That's lazy. I don't like it. I'm not

2:12.6

here for it. Give me subtlety. Give me somebody who has about a tenor to make a film and they use that tenor wisely.

2:20.0

And this is one of those films. Is this film going to blow your mind and change your life? No. But can you appreciate it for an independent found footage, horror film? Yes, you can. It's decent. Okay, it's definitely decent.

2:32.1

And I really liked the premise for this story. So essentially,

2:35.7

there is a water shortage in Sydney and under the city there are all these underground tunnels
