Hey, this is John. So longtime listeners will remember that back in 2016 and 2017, I was living and working in Paris. Craig and I kept doing the show every week despite the nine hour time difference.

I can't believe you did that for a year.

Yeah for a whole year and so this was in the pre-Zoom era even. This was on Skype so

it was the whole blue blue blue blue blue we did it. It worked. I am in Paris again this week and Craig and I hope to do the same very long distance recording but our schedules did not work out.

So instead we are going back to the vaults to episode 271, which is from October 2016. So for this episode I'm in

focusing on those psychological barriers that writers face when we're tackling big projects,

Yeah and since this episode aired I think we've talked a lot more about autism spectrum

disorder and there's been organizations like Inevitable Foundation that are found as really highlight

neurodivergent and disabled screenwriters so they're a great resource

some of that kind of stuff has changed but really a lot of stuff has not changed

I was looking at the intro to this episode and we talk

about the upcoming 2016 election and how quote the country is at stake because

Donald Trump could win over this female candidate and yakes, it did feel like going back around

to some earlier time.
