Summary
The 2007 Murders of Jennifer, Michaela & Hayley Petit Perpetrated by Joshua Komisarjevsky & Steven Hayes (Part 2).
On July 24, 2007, 2 men - Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes - invaded the home of William and Jennifer Petit in the town of Cheshire, Connecticut. Also in the home at the time were their Petit's two children, 17 year old Hayley and 11 year old Michaela. Throughout the early morning hours, these men attacked William with a baseball bat and bound Jennifer and the daughters upstairs in their bedrooms while they ransacked the house. Not finding what they were looking for - which was a large stash of cash - they decided to wait until morning to take Jennifer to the bank to withdraw money for them. But at some point after the sun came up, the plan to burglarize the home turned into something much more sinister...
