Hey there, listeners. Welcome to Horror Movie Club, the show where two dudes who aren't

quite nerds, but not quite nubes. Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review. I'm Oshfin. I'm on the phone with Brian,

and on this week's episode, we're going to be talking about the 2002 film 28 Days Later,

directed by Danny Boyle, written by Alex Garland, and starring Killian Murphy, Naomi Harris, and Brendan Gleason.

In this film, a man wakes up from a coma after a deadly virus has broken out and wiped out most of the people in London,

and he tries to find a way to survive in this new and scary world.

If you're new to our show, Brian and I are going to have a spoiler-free discussion for the first 15 minutes or so.

Then we'll take a quick break.

You're going to hear a little bit of music.

And then we'll come back, hit the plot, we'll spoil the films, and we'll get into our review.

Two reasons that I'm excited to cover this.

One, this movie has been been absence as we've talked about

from all streaming platforms up until last December I think Disney had like lost their rights and

it was just really impossible to find this film anywhere but now fortunately streaming in places

and secondly we got a new one coming out in June 2025.

Yeah, June 2025, the 28 years later.

So two reasons to be excited about this film.
