We share a lot of intimate conversations and thoughts on this show, but one conversation I haven't brought myself to have is about the intimate moments between two people, whether they're lying in bed, whispering in each other's ear,

or confessing how they want to be touched. I haven't talked about love in a way

that you can feel with your body because it's scary. But when people

ask, I don't tell them that. Well, and another one of my cop-out things that I say is like, why should I talk about sex

and like really intimate relationships because like the heart does it so well, like it's

already covered, you know, like I don't need to do it. There's a podcast in my

radiotopia family that already says what I'm too afraid to say. It's called

The Heart. Today we're featuring one of their stories. It's about the host

Caitlin pressed. But before we pass the mic off to the heart I wanted to call up

Caitlin and ask her how she was able to face this scary thing that I haven't been able to face.

So I have never really talked about sex on millennial and it's mostly because I'm really

uncomfortable with it and I wonder how did you get over your fear in the very

beginning? I think part of it for me was like in the very beginning.

I think part of it for me was like diving straight into something that scared the

shit out of me and like there's something that's very special about like privately

publicly disclosing things to a microphone, where it's like, I'm telling my

deepest, darkest secret to a microphone, but I know that someone's

listening. But I don't have to look at their face and I don't

have to like be in a room full of the people I don't have to like they get to have

their own private reaction and I get to have my own private disclosure.

Yeah. Where do you think the source of the, what is the source of the scarieness?

Yeah, I think a lot of it is really insecurity, you know, I think feeling like I'm still a kid in a way, like it's hard for me to see myself as a sensual woman.
