Third Nephi 17 through 19.

When it comes to doctrinal chapters, I have a hard time picking a favorite.

King Benjamin, Abinadai, Alma and Amulak, Samuel Lamanite, Alma to his sons, there are so many incredible doctrinal chapters in the Book of Mormon.

But if I had to pick a chapter that was most personally moving because of what takes place there, not necessarily what's taught, but what occurs,

it'd be tough to be Third Nephi 17.

What Jesus does in this chapter is one of the most moving scenes that you'll ever find in scripture.

And one of the most amazing things about it

is that it's a bonus chapter.

In some ways, it shouldn't have been here.

They shouldn't have had this experience.

But they did. And because they had this experience, but they did.

And because they had that experience, we get to have an experience with them.

I love this chapter.

But to put this chapter in context, we need to go back and realize just how much I've been talking for the last two weeks.

From 3rd Nefai 11 through 16, it took me five hours to get through that material.
