I'm Keith Morrison, and this is Episode 3 of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

We last left our hero, think about Crane, trading late-night ghost stories with fellow guests

at the Vantassel party.

The ghosts were said to gather around a giant tree called Andre's Tree, named after a

pretty soldier who was caught there, and later hanged.

Think about himself as a strong believer in spirits and hauntings.

He was easily spooked by forest sounds, as he made his way home at night.

But on this night, think about was on cloud nine.

He spent most of the evening gorging on delicious food and dancing his heart out, with a woman

he'd fall on head over heels for.

The beautiful and rich Katrina Van Tassel.

His biggest rival for Katrina's affection, Brawn Bones, had passed the time sulking in

a corner, a zikabod and Katrina tore up the dance floor.

Yes, zikabod was on the verge of getting everything he wanted, a beautiful wife, a mansion

of home, and all the riches that came with it.

All that was left was to get Katrina's blessing.

And so as the party broke up, iikabod lingered to speak alone with Katrina.

But things didn't go as he planned.

No, not at all.
