And today we're talking about season 3 episode 3 entitled IFT. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on what that means.

Yeah. A really good episode, really solid episode for Breaking Bad.

You know every season they have like you know kind of a emotional buildup

setting up the board for the next round of the crazy action.

And I remember in watching it sometimes we would get antsy.

Like, oh, you know, it's like, I need, I need another fix, I need another shot of the pure stuff.

But I really enjoyed this. This was an unusual poignant with Jesse coming in grips with the loss of his girlfriend and Skyler and Walt's

you know evolving duel over the soul of their family

Tensions building between the cartel and Gus and the cousins and

Walt Hang and the balance. And Skyler feeling kind of powerless and lashing out and

Hank going through his continued like avoidance behavior on PTSD I mean I think there's a lot of interesting things to talk about that just a lot of good stuff. Yeah as I'm'm watching it, I'm thinking, you know what, this episode in a really interesting

way articulates kind of everything that I like about Breaking Bat.

You know, it's not the flashiest. There are

certainly flashy episodes of Breaking Bad and that's part of what I love about it.

You do get some insane action. You get the Hank fist fight and then Tortuga getting

tortoegov. Yeah. Uh- tortuga. But the thing that really makes Breaking Bad so good is I feel like I totally understand the

motivations of every single character and none of them are acting in ways that I can't see a normal person acting.

Yes.

None of them are acting like these fictionalized made-up characters.

They're acting like real people.

And normal people in extraordinary situations.
