is why did you cut your hair?

I know, that is a good question. Why did you cut your hair? I know that is a question why did you cut your hair?

So when I retired from the Army my late wife Shannon was like don't get your

haircut for like two years and I was like that's the plan right there so then I grew it out and it just stayed for a while.

But then I figured if I was going to attempt to run for Congress I should probably be a little bit more clean cut.

I'm still torn on it. I don't know if it was the right decision. Now I kind of think maybe I should have left it long.

Yeah, I guess there's probably a piece of that would be you have to be clean cut, clean shaven, you know, because you want to get the, what I would call

is the suburban soccer mom. Yeah, yeah, I think there's a lot of folks who still associate people having like long hair and

be scruff.

I can never grow in like a really prolific beard.

It was always just kind of like this pointy thing.

And like big sideburns that sort of overlapped. so I look kind of scruffy but yeah I think a lot of people still associate that with your some kind of a crazy hippie or you're just not disciplined enough to get a haircut.

I think I think so I think there's probably some residual from the 1960s.
