When I was in high school I woke up before everyone else in my house to take a shower in the morning.

It was getting to be winter and it was still dark out when I was getting out of the shower.

I turned off the bathroom lights as I as not to wake my parents whose bedroom was across from the bathroom.

Then I opened the door to head back to my room.

Across the hallway in my parents room standing next to their bed, I saw a tall white outline of a man.

It was kind of like a shadow, if a shadow could be translucent white instead of dark. There were no distinguishing

characteristics about it. It was just a silhouette of a tall man with broad shoulders. I didn't feel afraid. I actually stopped

and stared at this thing for a few seconds. Then I thought to myself, I must be tired

and needed to start getting to bed earlier and I went to my room to get dressed.

An hour or so later my family had woken up and I was sitting in my parents room on their bed talking to my mom while she got ready for the day.
