Those invitations are available to every single one of us, but we will not realize them without

embracing and expecting that we will have not what I signed up for seasons where God is growing

something essential in our souls that we will have to reckon with grief and loss as a part of our story.

That's a disappointment loss in grief are all in a category that we try to avoid. We will have to engage that

and that we will learn to be present even in trouble and even in suffering because

that's where we experience the goodness and the glory of God.
