All these international organizations that, in a sense, took over the role of the nation state,

have become marginalized or less legitimate now than they were beforehand.

And it's really good that those international organizations, those bodies, in a sense, disintegrate. The bad side of it

is that we haven't even got any kind of roadmap and we haven't got any clear rules of

engagement in the way that existed in the past. So everybody's making things up as they're going

along.

good to have you on to talk about the changing world, I guess, and what's happening with the

Western Alliance and Globalism and all those other big

huge questions. Let's kick off with the event that kind of triggered some of this discussion

globally, which is the Trump Zelenskyy showdown, bust up, blow up in the Oval Office,

which is still having repercussions now. It really shocked people, took, really kind of rattled

the commentary at in particular and sent waves around the world in different ways. What was your

response when you saw that? When you saw Trump and Vance kind of going for Zelensky and

Zelensky sitting there looking quite sour-faced and angry at what was occurring.

What did you think?

Were you shocked?

Or did you think this kind of thing was a long time coming?

Well, I must be very naive because I was shocked.

I've never seen a spectacle like this because it was a very antithesis of diplomacy,

you know, the way you kind of handle, manage things.
