Summary

For the next several weeks, we're doing something we've never done before. It's a bit of a look back at some of my personal favorite episodes. Today's replay was originally episode 71, Let Time be Your Friend. It came about after months of ruminating over this idea of the passing of time and how it's always part of our lives, but we don't often sit and think about it. If you've ever felt like you could make better decisions if only you had more time, if you've ever wished for time to stop just for a while so you could catch your breath, well, today's episode is for you. Listen in.

If you struggle with decision fatigue, chronic

hesitation, or if you just need a few minutes away from the constant stream of

0:38.5

information and the sometimes delightful but also distracting hum of entertainment, you're in the right

0:44.9

place for discerning your next right thing.

It's a bit of a look back at some of my personal

0:54.7

favorite episodes. One thing I know after nearly seven years of hosting this

0:59.7

podcast is that sometimes listener favorites aren't the same as my favorites, so I'm indulging

1:05.2

myself and republishing some favorites of my own.

1:09.5

One risk of this I know that you'll see quite obviously is how my voice has changed both in

1:15.7

timber and in depth so that's a thing. Welcome to aging and experience but I

1:22.1

also say things and express myself a little bit differently now

1:24.9

than I did then. I talked faster than, especially in this episode, what is happening?

1:30.3

I hope it's not too distracting for you, but also things were different then.

1:35.0

But still, these stories matter to me and it's been good for me to revisit them.
