Dutch national Mark van Dongen met South African Berlinah Wallace in 2010 in Bristol, England. After 5 years together, Mark decided he wanted to end the relationship. He finally broke it off in August 2015 when he met someone new.

When Berlinah Wallace refused to accept Mark’s decision, she became so consumed with anger and jealousy that she did the unthinkable. Her actions lead to devastating consequences.

1:16.8	In late July 2015, 28 year old civil engineer Mark Van Dongen was using an online dating site when he met a woman named Violet. Like Mark, Violet lived in the English city of Bristol. The two chatted online for a week before deciding to meet up for a coffee. The first date went so

1:29.8	Affection quickly blossomed and by mid-August the pair were contemplating a serious relationship.

1:50.0	Five years earlier, he'd met a 40-year-old South African woman named Berliner Wallace through an online dating site. Despite the 18-year age gap between the two and the fact they lived in different countries, they hit it off.
