Hey guys, just curious, is anyone else out there super tired of hearing the word

Avoidant like you're just sick of it like you don't want to hear it anymore

Seriously though, people need a fresh perspective on this topic

because they're looking at it with the one track mind.

And yeah, it's just, well, let's just get right into it,

okay?

Because I got a lot to say on the topic.

The topic is, are they an avoidant or are they just not into you or the right fit for you?

There's just such an overuse of the word avoidant these days, you know, especially by younger people because they hear it over and over on social media,

and since younger people have less life experience

and less relationship experience,

well, they tend to kind of grab on to what they hear

and then automatically apply it to their own lives without considering

the big picture. When you use the term avoidant to describe almost every situation where someone ends a relationship, regardless of the actual reasons, well, that's considered a gross overuse of the term. I have a problem with this because it's being applied far too broadly,

often inaccurately, and without proper understanding, which then diminishes its true meaning.

It's like as soon as someone gets dumped, they're labeling their ex an
