I just wanted to start off with a shout out to Carly who left me a review for my book,

Don't be desperate on Amazon.com. And she said, the best breakup book ever. If you were someone you

know has gone through a breakup, this is the best book to read. I love how it's such a page-turner in the sense that it's

entertaining to read, feels like a best friend is talking sense into you, and is not full of

unnecessary filler paragraphs.

The chapters are clearly laid out and short

to the point, which makes it very fun to get through each one

to see which subject is next. There's literally a chapter on just about

everything that pertains to a breakup without it feeling all clinical and

scientific. I own so many breakup books that have this weird pretentious vibe that it ends up

intimidating me and I never finish it. But this book I love how I can clearly

hear Trina's voice and giggle. I wish more authors would write how they speak. This is such

a small detail, but I absolutely love the usage of Hm and L-O-L's because again it makes me feel like I'm being talked to by a friend.

I don't like books that take themselves too seriously to sound proper like there's some college professor. Again that just isn't as fun or as easy to digest,

especially when you're in the middle of heartbreak.

You want to feel like a best friend or wise older sister has their back.
